Location
The Sonnenkäfer Crèche is only roughly 10 minutes to walk from the U-Bahn, located on the campus of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Garching, right beside the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Falultät für Maschinenbau). The crèche has a big garden that blends in harmonically with the surrounding green area with its stream.
The Facility’s Rooms
The crèche has a large bright group room with floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of nature, a separate area for eating and a quiet sleep room. The generous-sized hall is also used as an exercise room. The large garden offers lots of opportunity for experiencing nature.
Whose Children Do We Look After
We take care of children of parents who are studying at a university the Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern is in charge of, as well as those of employees of the Technical University Munich, the supporting association “Stud. Eltern-Kind-Initiativen e.V.” and the Studierendenwerk.
