Kindervilla Crèche

The "Kindervilla" is idylically situated on “Weihenstephaner Berg”, surrounded by buildings of the Technical University of Munich and the Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences. It is close to Freising's city centre and is easily accessible by bike, by car or via the buses 638 and 639 from the train station.

The Kindervilla at Weihenstephaner Steig opened up in October 2008. The name "Kindervilla" is due to the art nouveau villa built in the 20s. The main building was extended in September 2011. Since then, the crèche has two spacious and individually designed group rooms that are especially bright and friendly due to their large windows. During free playing time, the hall in front of the group rooms offers additional space for the children to run around and play with different age-appropriate vehicles. Both groups also have a sleep room each, which can also be used as an activity room. The new building also contains a creative room that is used by both groups. The large garden offers a variety of old plants and trees to discover, as well as lots of space to play, run about and experiment.

We take care of children of parents who are studying at a university the Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern is in charge of, as well as those of employees of the Technical University Munich, the supporting association “Stud. Eltern-Kind-Initiativen e.V.” and the Studierendenwerk.
