Three rivers coming in from three directions – the Danube from the west, the Inn from the south and the Ilz from the north – create a unique and beautiful scenery. And on top of that – the old baroque town, which was created by Italian masters in the 17th century. St. Stephan’s Cathedral, with the largest cathedral organ worldwide, rises up majestically in the city centre. Charm and beauty, history and culture, art and adventure all come together in this town. After a short guided tour (held in English), everyone will have the opportunity to go and explore the magical old town by themselves. If you feel like it, you can go on a boat trip on the Danube at your own expense or walk up to the castle “Veste Oberhaus” and enjoy the magnificent view onto “Bavarian Venice”.
Participants will need a Deutschland-Ticket for the trip, or you can get yourself a Bayernticket for that particular day.
