Spectacular Planting of a Tree

In 2023, construction work was also making good progress at the Schwere-Reiter-Straße. A new building offering 241 accommodation units was constructed at the time; students will presumably be able to move into their rooms in 2024. In December 2023, right before Christmas, an exceptional planting of a tree took place. A plane tree was inserted by means of a large crane. It is now growing vertically through the building – at least, that’s the impression one gets due to a gap in the ceiling. Future students will be able to enjoy their roof terrace in the shade of the tree.
