Trip to Partnach Gorge in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The Partnach Gorge is one of Germany's miracles of nature – especially in winter. Dozens of icicles hang down from high above. With a longitude of 700m and 80m in depth you'll be walking through a very unique landscape of rock faces, tunnels and galleries which was formed in the course of tousands of years. The path through the gorge winds its way through tunnels and over small bridges along the river. Although the path itself is not very steep, it can be slippery when it's wet. Therefore, it is important to wear shoes with good grip and a waterproof winter jacket. Don't miss the chance to discover this natural miracle!
