Did I apply for my visa in time?

Will my passport be valid for long enough?

Do I have all the documents required for my residence permit?

Do I definitely have the necessary financial means and valid proof regarding my financing?

Do I have health insurance for my stay abroad and have I received the insurance certificate?

Have I found the right university and the right course of studies and have I received my acceptance letter?

Do I have the necessary language skills and passed the required language exams?

Am I aware of all important application dates and deadlines?

Do I have all the reports and confirmations, translated if necessary, required for enrolling?

Do I have accommodation, if only temporary?

Am I participating in an exchange programme (such as ERASMUS (LMU), TUMexchange) and studying at a university which participates in the "Servicepaket"? Then there might be the possibility to get a room via your university. Check your university's website for more information on accommodation.

Do I need liability insurance?

Do I need any additional insurances, e.g. because I will be handling hazardous substances in my studies?

Do I have a supply of passport photos possibly required for registrations in Munich?
