If you want to study at a German University, you will need an adequate grasp of the language.
This is not only important for you to be able to successfully take part in lectures, seminars and exams, but also to be able to fully take part in social life and get the most out of your time abroad.
If you are applying for a special international master’s programme that is held entirely in English, knowledge of the German language is of course not required. However, learning enough for everyday life will definitely improve your stay!
